Acceptable Use Policy

1. Lawful Use

• Do not use CACulator.io to violate any law or regulation, infringe intellectual property, distribute malware, defame, harass, or engage in fraud.
• Do not use CACulator.io in violation of United States or other applicable export-control or sanctions laws.

2. Service Integrity

• Do not overload, attack, interfere with, or degrade the service or its infrastructure.
• Do not bypass paywalls, entitlement checks, usage limits, rate limits, authentication, or any other access control.
• Do not use bots, scripts, or automated systems except through approved API Keys and within their published rate limits.
• Do not reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, copy, or create derivative works of the service.

3. Data and Outputs

• Do not misrepresent CACulator.io Output as certified, audited, professionally verified, or approved by CACulator.io.
• Do not upload data you are not authorized to provide, including data in violation of confidentiality, employment, customer, investor, securities, privacy, or data-protection obligations.
• Do not scrape, harvest, copy, resell, sublicense, or redistribute CACulator.io data, benchmark data, formulas, content, or Output except as expressly permitted.
• Do not use CACulator.io to build, train, seed, or enhance a competing calculator, benchmark database, analytics product, reporting product, AI model, or SaaS metrics platform.

4. Embeds and Widgets

• Embed widgets only on websites whose origins are listed in your Embed Token’s allowed-origins list. Do not spoof origins or pass tokens through unrelated domains.
• Do not frame calculator widgets in misleading, abusive, or illegal contexts.
• Preserve CACulator.io attribution and links for non-white-label embeds. White-label embeds are available only to eligible subscribers.

5. Board Books and Recipients

• Board-book Recipient lists must contain only individuals you are authorized to share confidential financial information with.
• Magic links and per-recipient watermarked PDFs are issued per Recipient and may not be re-shared, forwarded for further distribution, or used to circumvent recipient revocation.
• Do not attempt to defeat watermarking, view tracking, or token-based access controls.

6. API Keys and Credentials

• API Keys, Embed Tokens, magic links, and account credentials are confidential and must not be shared publicly, committed to source repositories, or distributed to unauthorized parties.
• Rotate or revoke credentials promptly when you suspect compromise. Notify legal@caculator.io of any actual or suspected compromise.

7. AI-Assisted Features

• Do not submit content to AI-assisted features that you do not have the right to process through a third-party large language model provider.
• Do not attempt to use AI-assisted features to generate disallowed content, exfiltrate confidential prompts, or probe model behavior in a way that violates the underlying provider’s policies.
• Do not represent AI-generated content as certified, audited, or professionally verified.

8. Enforcement

We may investigate suspected violations, suspend or revoke access pending investigation, and take corrective action. We may cooperate with law enforcement where appropriate. Repeat violations may result in permanent termination.
